LEGO Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics at San Diego Comic Con

so San Diego Comic Con is finally over and hopefully everyone has recovered somewhat from it. Bryan “Flash” Turner was on the west coast on a solo mission, putting his portfolios in all the right hands! even more exciting is that his LEGO adaptation of the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” comic was being given as Comic Con swag at the LEGO and IDW booths! all 3 parts of the story that originally appeared in “TMNT New Animated Adventures” #11-13 were collected in one special edition book. Flash provided the awesome art and Peng-Peng did the lettering for it. if you got a copy, have Flash sign it at the next show!

if you’re looking to relax with a small one-day show to look at each vendor at your leisurely pace, Peng-Peng and theFranchize will be at the Comics MD Fest in Waldorf, MD this Saturday – Aug. 2nd – from 10am to 4pm. Special Edition NYC

Special Edition: NYC is upon us already! come and find TheFranchize, Peng-Peng, and Flash at the Javitz Center in New York City this weekend! we’ll be at TABLES K1/K2 Saturday and Sunday. we’ll have prints (large and small), comics, and original art with us. as always, we’ll be doing sketches all weekend long so get us early.

Awesome Con was pretty, well, awesome! but we haven’t quite gathered all the photos from the weekend so we’ll recap on that convention a little later. for now, we’re gearing up for FREE COMIC BOOK DAY! it’s the biggest day in comics and Peng-Peng & theFranchize will be spending it at Captain Blue Hen Comics in Newark, DE! it’s quite the event and we’re so very excited to be a part of it for the first time. we’ll have prints, cards, sketchcovers, and exclusive covers on hand for those that come by! we’ll be looking forward to seeing some new faces and signing Fanboys Vs Zombies and LOKI:Ragnarok and Roll books for folks. so come on out and bring the kids and enjoy what should be a gorgeous day surrounded by all things nerdy! like us! =)

Awesome Con is this weekend already – April 18-20, 2014! our business cards have been ordered, our prints are ready to rock, and we’re wrapping up some projects before heading to the show on Friday! since this show is in our hometown of Washington, DC, it’s gonna be a huge blast. and who knows, maybe one of our studiomates may have a new addition to the family before the weekend is out. 😉 everyone say CONGRATULATIONS to Flash – Mr. About-to-have-4-kids!
