the why: 10 years ago, IDSTUDIO put together The Blueprint, a collection of all the stories/comics that we had floating around in our young minds. our group had different members, we had different ambitions back then, but what we always wanted was to create something for everyone. we spent the next decade working hard to break into the comics and animation industry, always learning every step of the way, and doing conventions from coast to coast.
we never gave up on those stories in our heads, they just took a back seat to professional work. but now we wanted to put our focus back on them, along with some new stories, with the knowledge and skills that we’ve acquired so far. we want to put these stories into a new book – THE BLUEPRINT 2. the anthology will have 4 different short comics to tease for longer stories of each. along with them will be tons of character designs and visual development artwork. all of us in the studio have poured all of our hearts into this project and the biggest hope we have is to get it funded so we can share with the world these fun stories and characters.
