packing party

we had a packing party for our book THE BLUEPRINT 2 to ship to our Kickstarter backers! we’ll be starting to mail them out this week and with any luck, everyone in the U.S. will have them by February! international orders always take longer but fingers crossed they’ll get to their destinations in February as well. thanks to everyone who supported the project and also for their incredible patience as we were waiting to get the books and swag in the mail.

we have hopes that soon, folks who missed out on the kickstarter will have a chance to buy the book online. if not at one central online shop, at the very least from any of the three ID STUDIOS members’ online shops. but more on that at a later time. OR you can follow our facebook page – facebook.com/IdentityComicsStudio – to stay current on the goings-on of the studio (if you don’t already).

updates on our Kickstarter

we have had so many updates to our kickstarter since we launched on 7/11. thank u so much to those of u that pledged early and spread the word about it. we know we’re asking for a good amount of money, but we really want to create the best-looking product that we can make. we want to have something that we can be really proud of to show people our stories as well as give our fans and followers something worthy of their bookshelves.

so we’ve added some new tiers, reduced the prices on other tiers – all to make the book and its perks more accessible to everyone. check out ALL of our updates on the UPDATE tab on our kickstarter page – https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/822502594/the-blueprint-2/updates. our latest update is that we will be giving away a PDF of Hyperboy and Return of the Way from THE BLUEPRINT 1st issue with every physical copy of the new book pledged on the kickstarter! since The Blueprint was created 10 years ago, we don’t have any more copies of it to sell or show. (there may only be one existing copy among the entire studio.) but we do have the digital files. we’ve had a couple of people ask where #1 is since this is for #2. keep in mind that both Hyperboy and Return of the Way for The Blueprint 2 are reimaginings of the stories. they are not a continuation from #1 and, if you pledge for a physical copy of #2, you will see the growth of the stories as well as the art for both of them.

kickstarter event

ID Comics Studios will be launching its first KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN on JULY 11, 2016 – and we want u to join us for the party! use this hashtag #IDBLUEPRINT2 to spread the word!! the kickstarter will be for an anthology book of short stories – all illustrated by the 3 studio members Jerry Gaylord, Bryan K Turner, and Penelope R. Gaylord. we will be working with some great writer friends – Kenny Groom and Jeffrey & Susan Bridges – to give these stories the fun, strong backbones that they need. we’ll have some great rewards for those that are willing to support the project with us to make this nearly decade-long dream become reality!
